Casio has officially revealed the G-Shock GW-6905K-7A watch. This is its 2025 collaboration with the International Cetacean Education Research Centre (ICERC) Japan, a partnership which has been running for over 30 years. Rumors about the watch began in May 2025, with some details leaking in June.
This new Casio G-Shock x ICERC watch is designed on the theme of ‘Love The Sea And The Earth’, as has been the case for the last few years. The GW-6905K-7A, or GW-6905K-7AJR, features the humpback whale motif in the LED backlight, on the large central button and on the watch strap. This is a two-tone watch, with a white resin casing and strap and a dark blue strap. The digital display has a deep blue surround with lighter blue accents.
Features of this radio-controlled (Multiband 6) GW-6900 series watch include support for world time, with 48 cities on offer. There are tools like a 1/100 second stopwatch, a countdown timer and five daily alarms; some of these functions are linked to the watch’s triple graph. The digital display shows the time, date and weekday. Plus, the timepiece features a battery indicator, a power saving mode and Tough Solar charging.
The Casio G-Shock x ICERC GW-6905K-7AJR watch will be released in Japan this August, retailing for ¥28,050 (~$190). Whether or when this model could be launched in other regions remains to be seen.
