Amsterdam-based microbrand Batavi has unveiled its latest Marina Chronograaf collection. The watchmaker has introduced four variants in the lineup, including sunrise, mist, sand, and night. All variants feature identical specs but relatively unique dial designs. To be more precise, the sunrise variant features a candy-esque combination of blue and pink with Eastern Arabic numerals and a gradient dial.
While the other three, such as the mist is a combination of white and blue; the sand is a mixture of orange, blue, brown, and off-white; and last, the night is adorned with charcoal, purple, salmon, and mint. Alongside, Batavi has also launched the Marina fragrance to pair with the watch. According to the microbrand, this fragrance is inspired by long days at sea and golden afternoons ashore; the scent is warm, nostalgic, and an echo of summer.
Speaking about dimensions, the Batavi Marina Chronograaf lineup measures 46 mm lug-to-lug and has a 38 mm stainless steel case with 13.5 mm of thickness. Each dial is adorned with a seconds and 30-minute subdials located at the 9 and 3 o’clock positions, respectively. The entire collection is powered by a hand-wound chronograph Seagull ST1901 movement with yacht-timer functionality and offers up to 50 hours of power reserve. The mechanical movement features 21 jewels and runs at a frequency of 3 Hz (21,600 vph).
Furthermore, it has a 5 ATM (50 m) water resistance, a domed sapphire crystal, a transparent caseback, and a stainless steel quick-release bracelet. Available in four dial color options, the Batavi Marina Chronograaf collection starts at €649 and is now available for purchase via Batavi’s official website.
