Attention Pokémon fans: Reveal trailer of the new Pokémon game Legends Z-A unveiled
After the flop of Scarlet and Violet and the unexpected success of the apparently Pokémon-inspired survival game Palworld nintendo has been put under a lot of pressure. The next Pokémon game should be a lot better - especially on the technical side. Whether this will be the case remains to be seen. However, we now know which game Pokémon fans can expect next.
In the Pokémon Presents on February 27, 2024, Nintendo revealed the first information about the latest 9th generation game. It will be called Legends Z-A and will follow on from Legends: Arceus. The action will move from the historical Hisui region to the contemporary Kalos region, which fans already know from the sixth generation (X and Y). First insights can be found in the reveal trailer that Nintendo of America published yesterday on X (formerly Twitter):

Lumiose City appears to be undergoing restructuring and could be the centerpiece of the game. Players may even be able to help shape the city. The video description of the trailer on YouTube states:
"A new adventure awaits you in Lumiose City, where an urban development plan is underway to make the city a place that belongs to both humans and Pokémon."
Launch planned for 2025
Pokémon Legends Z-A is being developed by Gamefreak and is due to be released for Nintendo Switch systems in 2025. The release is planned worldwide at the same time.
