Update | Asus Zenfone 7: Live images confirm rotating triple-cam module and side-mounted fingerprint reader
Update: The Zenfone 7's retail box has now leaked, revealing the major specifications of the phone. The Zenfone 7 will be powered by a Snapdragon 865 and will feature 8 GB of RAM, 128 GB of storage, and a 6.67-inch FHD+ display. The third camera is an 8 MP sensor, so likely a telephoto camera and not a depth or macro lens as initially tipped.

The Asus Zenfone 7 will be officially unveiled on August 26. That's just four days away at the point, and there's been a steady influx of information pertaining to the phone over the past week. The latest leak, however, shows the Zenfone 7 in the flesh for the first time.
As shared on Twitter, the Zenfone 7 can be seen, alongside its box. The design is, well, pretty similar to what we saw on last year's Zenfone 6. That's not a bad thing, though. The swiveling camera module also makes a return on the Zenfone 7. While the Zenfone 6 had just two cameras, the Zenfone 7 appears has three. Word on the grapevine claims the new lens is just a ToF sensor now, though it's possible that the Zenfone 7 Pro will incorporate a telephoto lens.
Gone is the rear fingerprint reader as it appeared on the Zenfone 6. Since the phone is expected to have an LCD—which currently doesn't accommodate in-display fingerprint readers—it's logical to assume that it's been moved to the side of the phone, just like an earlier leak claimed.
