This 2025 UX3405CA version of the Asus Zenbook 14 is still an excellent daily-use ultrabook, much like its AMD counterpart. It's mostly the same chassis and functionality, but comes in different colors and with a few extra features, and can be significantly faster with sustained loads thanks to the Arrow Lake H hardware inside. At the same time, though, it doesn't run as efficiently or as quietly as the AMD model with light use and daily multitasking, which might matter more to potential buyers than the more capable specs.

The Zenbook 14 UX3405CA is what happens when an engineering team refuses to choose between speed, stamina, screen quality, and portability. You get a machine that offers excellent levels of performance, impressive graphical capabilities, and an eye-catching display. At the same time, it is portable enough to fit inside most backpacks and tote bags. Yes, ASUS could have shifted one of the USB-C ports to the opposite flank, the display does reflect bright sunlight, and full-size SD cards demand an adapter. But each shortcoming is easy to live with, whereas the accumulated strengths change how casually you carry real creative power. If your workload blends code, 4K video trimming, light esports, and day-long travel, the UX3405CA is the most complete 14-inch laptop you can buy for a shade above Rs 1 lakh.

I’m impressed by the Asus Zenbook 14’s gorgeous all-metal chassis, gorgeous OLED display, smooth keyboard, and powerful Arrow Lake performance. Still, it’s to be expected from one of my favorite laptop lines. However, Asus has missed the mark in one key avenue: Battery life. The conversation around what constitutes good battery life is constantly evolving. When so many other laptops go above and beyond in longevity, anything underneath 10 hours doesn’t quite cut it anymore. The Zenbook 14 only lasted a little over nine hours, so the laptop is far from perfect alongside a muffled speaker system and dim screen. You could look at an alternative like the Asus Zenbook 14 Q425M, which is more affordable and has nearly 16 hours of battery life, although it’s less powerful. Otherwise, the Zenbook 14 UX3405 is still a great laptop.

The Asus Zenbook 14 OLED UX3405 is the latest addition to the company’s increasingly crowded lineup of ultraportables, but it stands out by combining a vivid OLED touchscreen with Intel’s new Core Ultra 7 155H processor featuring integrated Intel Arc graphics. Though it falls short of dethroning the value-packed Zenbook 14X OLED Q420, this model still impresses with its performance, display quality, and design finesse. Finished in Ponder Blue aluminium with a stylized lid logo, the Zenbook 14 UX3405 is thin (0.59 inches) and lightweight (2.82 pounds), ideal for mobile professionals. It passes MIL-STD 810H durability tests and offers a firm, quality feel with minimal flex. Asus manages a nearly bezel-less look, claiming an 87% screen-to-body ratio. Ports are plentiful, namely two Thunderbolt 4 USB-C ports, one USB-A, HDMI, and a headphone jack make it more versatile than many rivals. Wi-Fi 6E and Bluetooth are standard, but there is no SD card slot or cellular option. Biometric login is handled by an IR camera for Windows Hello, though there is no fingerprint sensor.
The centrepiece is a 14-inch 2.8K OLED touchscreen (2880x1800) with a 120Hz refresh rate. It delivers deep contrast, vibrant colours, and sharp detail, though brightness falls just short of outdoor readability. The display supports a stylus, and while it is not a convertible, the screen folds flat for easier stylus use. The included 6-inch pen charges via USB-C and offers good palm rejection and responsiveness. Asus provides a solid keyboard with snappy keys and bright backlighting. While the arrow and navigation keys are cramped, the layout is intuitive, and the Delete key is right where one would expect it to be. The large trackpad is smooth, though it lacks the LED numpad seen on other Zenbooks. Powered by Intel’s Core Ultra 7 155H, with six performance, eight efficient, and two low-power cores (22 threads total), the UX3405 comes with 32GB RAM and a 1TB NVMe SSD. It is a highly capable setup for multitasking, content creation, and office work. In benchmark tests, it led in PCMark 10 and Photoshop, offering strong productivity performance. However, its integrated Intel Arc graphics, while improved, still lag behind discrete GPUs which is adequate for streaming and casual use but not for modern gaming.
Battery life is solid as the UX3405 outlasted many competitors in battery test, thanks in part to efficient OLED tech and Intel’s AI-optimized performance. Asus’ MyAsus software offers controls for cooling, noise reduction, display tuning, and battery optimization. The laptop also includes Dolby Atmos-tuned speakers, which deliver clear, loud sound with minimal distortion, and useful webcam features like automatic framing and background blur. The Zenbook 14 OLED UX3405 is a sleek, thoughtfully built ultraportable that balances performance, battery life, and premium visuals. It is not the best value in Asus' own lineup, but if one needs Intel’s latest AI-ready processor, high RAM/storage, and a gorgeous OLED display in a durable, stylish body, this Zenbook deserves serious consideration.
