Computex 2024 | Asus ProArt PX13 brings ProArt goodness in a convertible form factor powered by Ryzen AI 300 APUs
Alongside the ProArt P16, Asus is introducing a convertible ProArt for the first time at Computex 2024 with the ProArt PX13 HN7306. Like the ProArt 16, the ProArt PX13 is also a Copilot+ PC powered by AMD Ryzen AI 300 "Strix Point" APUs but comes in a more compact 13-inch convertible form factor with a 360° hinge.
The convertible nature of the ProArt PX13 allows it to seamlessly transition between laptop, tent, stand, and tablet modes. The PX13 features a 13-inch 16:10 3K Pantone-validated Asus Lumina OLED display with 100% DCI-P3 coverage and up to 500 nits brightness.
Asus offers Ryzen AI 300 APUs with the PX13, likely the Ryzen AI 9 365 with a 50 TOPS NPU. According to Asus, the Ryzen APU, combined with the Nvidia GeForce RTX 4070 Laptop GPU can deliver over 300 TOPS of AI performance. Given the chassis constraints, the CPU and GPU are limited to 70 W TDP and 90 W TGP, respectively. These are still good numbers if previous experience with the ROG Flow X13 (US$2,500 on Best Buy) is anything to go by.
Asus DialPad comes integrated into the touchpad, and the port selection is quite exhaustive despite the small chassis. USB4 40 Gbps and Wi-Fi 7 connectivity are onboard. Asus's new AI-powered apps including Story Cube and Muse Tree come bundled along with a 6-months free CapCut subscription and 3 months of Adobe Creative Cloud.
