Aqara has teased two new smart light bulbs on social media. It is thought that the images included in these X posts represent the Smart LED Bulb T2 in E27 and GU10 variants. These smart home products would follow on from the LED Bulb T1, which launched several years ago.
The first post on X is thought to include a blurred image of the upcoming Smart LED Bulb T2 E27, which is listed on the Connectivity Standards Alliance (CSA) website. There are expected to be two E27 bulbs, one offering white light and another RGB model for white and colored lighting. According to the CSA site, the bulbs offer "ultra-low idle power consumption" and "seamless integration with your smart home ecosystem".
In a second X post, the company appears to tease a GU10 variant of this Smart LED Bulb T2. It describes the product as "energy efficient", and the image shows colored lighting. Plus, text across both images states that the bulbs have dual connectivity. Based on information on the CSA website, these are likely Matter over Thread devices, which also support Bluetooth.
Aqara is launching new products, expected to include the Smart LED Bulb T2 E27 and GU10, on January 23rd. The company has yet to announce the pricing of these devices or indicate in which countries they will be available. Aqara already sells smart lighting products, like the LED Strip T1, which is currently available for $39.99 at Amazon.
