Majin Bu has shared another round of iPhone SE 4 pictures, this time alongside the iPhone 16 (curr. $679 - renewed on Amazon). To recap, the leaker started the week by providing a better look at iPhone SE 4 dummy units than Sonny Dickson had a few weeks prior. Please note that the iPhone SE 4 has been rumoured to launch as the iPhone 16e, at least from some quarters.
Until now, all iPhone SE 4 footage has only showcased dummy units against themselves. By contrast, Majin Bu's latest leak highlights that Apple's next budget iPhone will differ visually from the iPhone 16 in a few areas.
For one, the removal of a glass camera housing makes the solitary rear-facing camera on the iPhone SE 4 look substantially larger than the iPhone 16's primary or ultra-wide-angle cameras. Based on recent rumours, Apple will equip its fourth-generation iPhone SE with a 48 MP primary camera, possibly the same one found in the iPhone 15 and iPhone 16.
The iPhone SE 4 also has much flatter sides than the iPhone 16 in an apparent nod to iPhones of old like the iPhone 4 and iPhone 4S. The next iPhone SE looks a tad smaller than its flagship iPhone counterpart too, which reinforces another recent leak. Allegedly, the iPhone SE 4 will measure 144~145 x 69~70 x 7~8 mm, compared to 147.6 x 71.6 x 7.8 mm in the case of the iPhone 15 and iPhone 16. A precise release launch remains unknown for now, nor whether the device will debut as the iPhone SE (2025), iPhone SE 4 or the iPhone 16e.
