Details of three unreleased Amazon Fire tablets have surfaced, and there are speculations one of them will launch as a successor to the Fire Max 11. There's also a model on the list that has 16GB of RAM, the largest ever in an Amazon tablet.

In 2023, Amazon released the Fire Max 11 as the largest model in its Fire tablet series. The tablet seems to have been discontinued as it is no longer available on Amazon's website. Now, it has been reported that a successor is on the way. A related report also reveals a few keys specs of some upcoming Amazon tablets, including the device rumored to be the 2nd generation Fire Max 11.

According to Good Ereader, the FCC has certified a new Amazon device that is believed to be the Fire Max 11 2nd generation. The tablet, which has the model number, TR24E7, is expected to launch later this year. The same device has also been spotted in import documents alongside two other models. These documents include some key specs of the devices.

The Amazon Fire Max 11 was released in 2023, but has been unavailable to buy for a while now.

Amazon Tablet (TR24E7)

This device, which Good Ereader says is the Fire Max 11 2nd generation, has a MediaTek MT8189 processor. Also known as the Kompanio 540, the 6nm chipset has two Cortex-A78 performance cores clocked at 2.60GHz and six Cortex-A55 efficiency cores clocked at 2.0GHz. It also features a Mali-G57 MC2 GPU.

The processor is the same one inside the the Asus Chromebook CM14 (CM1406) that launched in May 2026. While the processor is new, it isn't all that different from the MediaTek MT8188J inside the first-gen Fire Max 11. However, users should get a performance boost since it has been revealed that it has 8GB of RAM, which is double that of its predecessor. It also has 64GB of storage. However, it is not known if this will be the only configuration available.

Amazon Tablet (SP24NE)

The second tablet in the import documents has the model number SP24NE, and unlike the model above, this is powered by an unreleased MediaTek MT8793 processor. It also has 16GB of RAM, the largest ever in an Amazon tablet, and 256GB of storage. There's also a second variant with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage.

Considering the Fire Max 11 is Amazon's flagship tablet, this device seems more likely to be the Fire Max 11 2nd generation. However, there's also a possibility that it is a new model entirely.

One of the upcoming Amazon tablets has 16GB of RAM.

Amazon Tablet (RL3YT5)

The third tablet mentioned in the import documents has the model number RL3YT5. It also has the same MediaTek MT8189 a.k.a. Kompanio 540 processor. However, it has half the RAM of TR24E7 but double its storage i.e. 4GB of RAM and 128GB of storage.

The exact model names of these devices are not known, and until more details surface, it is best to take any information with a grain of salt. However, what is certain is that Amazon has at least three new tablets on the way, including a model with more RAM and storage than any it has ever launched.
