The Amazfit T-Rex 3 Pro smartwatch is being updated with software version 3.3.1.8. This model was last updated at the end of September 2025, when it received software version 2.4.2.1. In the earlier release, users gained improved integrations with Intervals.icu and Training Peaks.
With software version 3.3.1.8, reported on Reddit, users of the Amazfit T-Rex 3 Pro get enhancements for the route planning feature in the Terrain Map app. According to the company, it now works faster and has a higher success rate. The altitude algorithm for the Outdoor Cycling activity has been optimized for accuracy. Plus, users can now enlarge images in the Notification Center by tapping on them.
The Zepp Coach has been enhanced, with a battery level check before workouts, warning the user if necessary. Another battery-related improvement is the addition of the current battery percentage in the workout app. There is also new vibration feedback when you unlock the watch during a workout. On top of this, there are said to be minor bug fixes and stability improvements.
The software version 3.3.1.8 appears to be rolling out in phases to the Amazfit T-Rex 3 Pro (curr. $399.99 at Amazon). It is unclear when the release will be available via the Zepp app for all users.
