Garmin is rumored to be working on a new report: the Garmin Connect Rundown. It appears to be the brand’s version of an annual review, made popular by companies like Spotify.
According to a report by the5krunner, citing their regular source, John W, the Garmin Connect Rundown will provide users with insights into their achievements over the last year. This could help users track their progress over a longer timeframe.
The Garmin Connect Rundown is said to include statistics like your fastest 5K or marathon for runners, your fastest pushes for 1k or 10k for parathletes, and your personal record for a deadlift or bench press when strength training. The report could also provide a new context for your activity. Examples given are equating the distance moved to X trips down an airport runway, or elevation relative to the height of the Eiffel Tower or the Empire State Building. As well as your workout data, the Garmin Connect Rundown will also offer insights related to your Sleep Score and Body Battery, charting your data month on month.
The Garmin Connect Rundown will be available in the brand’s smartphone and web-based app. Information will be presented with a combination of graphics and text to make it an engaging experience for the user. Plus, there are said to be a range of tools allowing you to share your Rundown with friends or on social media. It is likely to be available for users of all of the brand’s smartwatches, including the vivoactive 6 (curr. $299.99 at Amazon). It is unclear when the Garmin Connect Rundown will be available to all users, though we might expect it to arrive later in 2025 or early in 2026.
