Amazfit T-Rex Dual Solar spec sheet leaked: 180-day battery life promised

Amazfit’s upcoming T-Rex Dual Solar has reportedly leaked with a solar-charging system unlike most current outdoor smartwatches. According to a now-deleted Spanish listing reportedly captured by Wearable Fans, the watch will feature photovoltaic panels on both sides, with a larger ceramic-glass panel integrated into the rear. This follows earlier leaks that indicated separate solar panels for the front display and the case back, while regulatory filings have linked the device to model A2570.

The reported specs include a 1.32-inch AMOLED display with a peak brightness of 3,000 nits, alongside a titanium case, sapphire crystal and physical buttons. The smartwatch is also purportedly capable of operating between -30°C and 70°C and will include an LED flashlight with a boost mode. For outdoor activities, the leak claims support for six satellite systems, wrist-based maps, heart-rate and blood-oxygen monitoring, training metrics, and weather and barometric-pressure alerts.

Battery endurance is the highlight: the leak claims around 25 days of typical use, rising to 40 days in an outdoor mode with hourly GPS updates. With regular exposure to bright sunlight, however, the rear solar panel is reportedly capable of extending total endurance to as much as 180 days. While the dual-panel approach is technically intriguing, none of this has been confirmed by Amazfit, so this information should be treated as unconfirmed until a formal announcement. The closest competitor, Garmin's Enduro 3, can reach up to 90 days under specified conditions.
