Qualcomm Adreno 680 vs Qualcomm Adreno 616 vs Qualcomm Adreno 643
Qualcomm Adreno 680
► remove from comparisonThe Qualcomm Adreno 680 is an integrated graphics card in the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8cx SoC for Windows laptops. According to Qualcomm it is 2x faster than the previous Adreno 630 in the Snapdragon 850 for Windows PCs with a 60% improved efficiency (thanks to the 7nm process). The performance should be similar to a Intel UHD Graphics 620 (e.g. in a 8th gen Core i5) when running native ARM64 compiled Windows apps and games. Running emulated 32 bit games (64 bit games compiled for AMD/Intel are not supported), the performance is notably slower.
Qualcomm Adreno 616
► remove from comparisonThe Qualcomm Adreno 616 is a mobile graphics card for upper mid-range smartphones and tablets (mostly Android based). It is included in the Qualcomm Snapdragon 710 SoCs and based on the Adreno 600 architecture (like the Adreno 630, which should be fully compatible in software).
According to Qualcomm up to 30% faster than the previous generation (Adreno 512 in the Snapdragon 660).
The GPU supports modern standards like Vulkan 1.0 (according to Wikipedia), OpenGL ES 3.2, OpenCL 2.0 and DirectX 11 (FL 11_1).
Qualcomm Adreno 643
► remove from comparisonThe Qualcomm Adreno 643 is an integrated graphics unit (iGPU) that is used in the Qualcomm QCM6490 and QCS6490. The SoC is not only intended for use in Android-based smartphones and tablets, but also for IoT products with Linux, Ubuntu or Windows 11 IoT Enterprise. In the QCM6490 and QCS6490 the 643 clocks at 812 MHz.
