A laptop built for raw gaming power above all else, the Acer Predator Helios Neo 16 helps games run and look their best. It makes a lot of noise and has a short battery life, which are reasonable trade-offs for those wanting a high-powered gaming laptop.

The Acer Predator Helios Neo 16 isn’t a terribly glamorous machine, with a hefty design that’s only further weighed down by all the plastic in its construction. But what lurks underneath all that is some wonderfully viable hardware for gaming. Acer has nailed the functional aspects of the design, with an effective cooling system and ample power delivery to the components helping the Acer Predator Helios Neo 16 beat similarly configured competitors at just about every turn. All of that speed is piped out of a display that’s more than good enough to game on, and with plenty of ports, it’s a system that’s ready to plop down into a desktop setup when you want a bigger screen.’ High performance always comes at a price, and the Acer Predator Helios Neo 16 is no budget laptop, but it’s a reasonable price for the hardware packed in.

The Acer Helios Neo 16 is a refresh that really invests in and builds upon the version from last year. Not only has the 16-inch QHD+ display been upgraded to a 240Hz refresh rate, but the other specs are solid, it has an incredible port selection, and its design is unique and downright cool. It's a well-balanced gaming laptop that's perfect for those looking for a great gaming machine that doesn't break the bank.

15-inch display variants are the standard and are used for more than half of all laptops.
The reason for the popularity of mid-sized displays is that this size is reasonably easy on the eyes, often allows high resolutions and thus offers rich details on the screen, yet does not consume too much power and the devices can still be reasonably compact - simply the standard compromise.

With this weight, a laptop is rather heavier than average. Devices in this range shine more with screen size and performance than with mobility.
