Reviews for the Acer Nitro 16 AN16-42
Source: Laptop Media
The Acer Nitro 16 (AN16-42) is a true gaming device with almost zero compromises. The big thermal system cools well the processor and the graphics card – their temperatures under load are low while the frequencies are high. Also, the keyboard gets just slightly hot which allows you to use the laptop comfortably for long hours of gaming. Especially if you choose the “Performance” preset which offers almost the same CPU and GPU power limits and much lower noise levels than the “Turbo” preset. The snappy IPS display (8 ms pixel response times) is PWM-free and gets pretty color-accurate with our “Design and Gaming” profile (average dE 1.2).

15-inch display variants are the standard and are used for more than half of all laptops.
The reason for the popularity of mid-sized displays is that this size is reasonably easy on the eyes, often allows high resolutions and thus offers rich details on the screen, yet does not consume too much power and the devices can still be reasonably compact - simply the standard compromise.

With this weight, a laptop is rather heavier than average. Devices in this range shine more with screen size and performance than with mobility.
