Abxylute is expanding its M line of controllers with two new models. The magnetic controllers, which have support for landscape orientation, will launch on Kickstarter at early bird prices for backers.

Back in August, Abxylute revealed two new controllers designed for smartphones. These new controllers, like the M4 Snap-On mobile controller released in 2025, attach to a smartphone via magnets. Abxylute has now announced pricing and launch details for the two accessories.

The Abxylute M5 has a slim design and connects via USB-C to a smartphone.

According to a YouTube Shorts, the Abxylute M5 and M6 will be launched on Kickstarter, just like the M4 Snap-On mobile controller (available on Amazon for $49.99). The launch date on the crowdfunding platform is October 6, and those who back the project will be able to get it the controllers at early bird prices.

The Abxylute M5 will have an early bird price of $59, while its final retail price will be $84.99. On the other hand, the Abxylute M6 will have an early bird price of $65 and a final retail price of $89.99. No info has been provided about the release date for the controllers, but we expect that will be revealed when the Kickstarter campaign goes live next week.

The Abxylute M6 has a thicker design but packs more features.

While the Abxylute M5 and Abxylute M6 are both magnetic controllers, they are quite different. The M5 has a slim and lightweight design, so you can keep it attached to your phone even when you are not playing games. However, there are tradeoffs to its design. For instance, it connects via USB-C as it lacks a battery. It also doesn't have vibration motors.

The Abxylute M6 is thicker and heavier thanks to packing a 500mAh battery, dual vibration motors, protruding joysticks, and large triggers. It also has Bluetooth 5.3, which means owners should be able to connect it to other devices. The spec sheet also mentions a 6-axis gyroscope, a dedicated macro button, RGB lighting, and detachable magnetic grips.
