AMD releases Radeon Software Adrenalin 2019 Edition 19.3.2 driver
AMD has published the release notes for the Radeon Software Adrenalin 2019 Edition 19.3.2 driver. Games getting support include the brand-new action RPG Tom Clancy’s The Division 2 and the Sid Meier’s Civilization VI: Gathering Storm expansion pack. AMD has reported a 4% performance gain with the latter title when comparing the new driver with version 19.2.3 (tested on AMD Radeon VII).
The Radeon Software Adrenalin 19.3.2 driver also offers support for DirectX 12 on Windows 7, which should offer game performance improvements in some titles. Along with the additional support, the package has fixes for Radeon ReLive for VR, fan curve, and Radeon WattMan. Considerable extra support for the Vulkan API has also been added to the package.
Gamers playing Rainbow Six Siege or DOTA 2 on a system with a compatible AMD chip may experience stutters caused by a known issue with the driver. A full list of support, fixed issues, and known issues can be accessed here. Radeon Software Adrenalin Edition 19.3.2 is compatible with a wide range of AMD products, including the Radeon VII, the RX Vega series, the Radeon RX 500 series, and numerous desktop and laptop processors (see below).
