Deal | AMD Ryzen 9 9950X3D deal bundles free AIO and Onimusha for $150 savings

AMD knocked it out of the park with its X3D CPUs when it comes to gaming. Its latest Ryzen 9000 series is a testament to that, and Intel has just been playing catch-up. The Ryzen 9 9950X3D chip is one of the best gaming CPUs on the market right now, and Newegg has an interesting deal for shoppers that makes it much better value.

For a limited time, the Ryzen 9 9950X3D is listed on Newegg with a bundle deal that includes a free AIO and a game. Those who purchase the CPU at its listed price of $699 will get the Cooler Master Elite Liquid 240mm AIO Cooler as well as a copy of Onimusha: Way of the Sword for free. The AIO itself is $80 on Newegg, while the game costs $70. That’s $150 in savings, which is great, especially if you’re looking to build a system or upgrade your current one.

The Ryzen 9 9950X3D, though not the best value in the lineup, offers excellent gaming performance similar to the Ryzen 7 9800X3D. It features a 16-core / 32-thread configuration with a 4.3 GHz base clock and 5.7 GHz boost clock speed. It comes with even more L3 cache than the 9800X3D at 128MB but also has a higher power draw at 170W.

In our review, we found that when it comes to gaming, “the Ryzen 9 9950X3D's additional 64 MB V-cache proves beneficial, boosting its performance by 18% over its non-X3D counterpart and surpassing the Core i9-14900K by 10% in aggregated gaming tests. Despite this, the Ryzen 9 9950X3D can only play second fiddle to the Ryzen 7 9800X3D in gaming, although the delta between them is practically negligible.”

Newegg also has deals on other Ryzen 9000 and Ryzen 7000 series CPUs, some of which get up to a $68 discount and a free PSU.
