Opera has released its AI-powered Opera One browser for iPhones. The iOS app was in beta for a couple of weeks, and the stable release comes with a redesigned UI, free VPN, and built-in ad blocker. All these make it stand as a solid alternative to Safari.

The Opera One has made its iOS debut, and the web browser has a couple of features that may make iPhone users switch from Safari or other browsers. Among all of these, the company is heavily marketing its AI features, which are brought by the AI assistant that Opera calls Aria.

Opera first introduced this AI assistant with the launch of the Opera One desktop browser, and it has a "revamped search functionality" that offers predictive keyword suggestions. Aria is also capable of generating images by using the Google Imagen2 model and creating generative text with simple prompts.

Besides the AI features, Opera One for iPhone mimics the minimalistic design of the desktop app. The company describes that the design can offer a distraction-free browsing experience by "intelligently hiding unnecessary elements." For example, it hides the top and bottom bars for a full-screen view of web pages.

Another thing to note about the design is that the iOS browser has a search button at the bottom of the screen. This aims to make one-handed navigation easier. The app also offers the option to initiate a search with a swipe gesture.

Other than that, Opera One for iPhone (renewed 64 GB iPhone 12 curr. $279.74 on Amazon) has a free VPN service, a built-in ad blocker, and many customization options. You can learn more about the AI-powered web browser for iOS from the video attached below.
