The iQoo 15 is thought to be the only upcoming flagship Android smartphone with OLED from Samsung rather than another supplier such as BOE. Now, that display is said to be "comparable" to that of the freshly-unleashed iPhone 17 Pro Max.
That would entail being equal to Apple's first up-to-3,000 nit 6.9-inch Super Retina XDR screen (with optional PWM dimming to boot) on the 15's part.
Then again, the putative Android contender is believed to boast a resolution of 2K (~1440p) as opposed to the atypical 1320x2868 spec of the 17 Pro Max, and perhaps even to have an anti-reflective treatment of its own.
Now, the 15 might actually end up with effectively the same display as the Samsung "Galaxy S26 Ultra", according to the latest rumor. There is a catch, which is that the screen is now projected to drive iQoo's bill of materials up by 300 or even 400 yuan (~$42-56) per unit.
Therefore, the smartphone is now predicted to launch as a more expensive device compared to its predecessor the 13, which still starts at INR 54,998 (~$623) on Amazon.in.
The 15 is also slated to maintain the wired charging speed of the brand's flagship line at 100W, albeit with a larger battery that might be as much as 7,000mAh in rated capacity.
The iQoo 15 is currently predicted to debut in October 2025, at around the same time as potential rivals such as the OnePlus 15, the Realme GT 8 Pro and the Honor Magic8.
