The Xiaomi Smart Ceiling Light D20 has been listed on the brand’s global website. The company markets this as a presence activated smart light. This is made possible by an integrated radar sensor which can detect when you enter or exit the room.
The Smart Ceiling Light D20 is said to offer up to 900 lumens brightness at 4,000K, and the color temperature is adjustable between 2,700 and 5,700K. The smart home device offers HyperOS Connect, with remote controls via the Xiaomi Home app. Plus, it is compatible with Amazon Alexa and Google Home for voice commands. Xiaomi suggests that it is slim thanks in part to a customer 6 cm (~2.4 inch) thick lens. The D20 is the largest model in the series, measuring 250 x 60 mm (~9.8 x 2.4 inches).
However, it is worth noting that the Xiaomi Smart Ceiling Light D Series products are only suitable for concrete ceilings. It is unclear when the Xiaomi Smart Ceiling Light D20 will launch, in which countries and at what price. The company already offers other smart lighting products in markets like Europe; for example, the Mi Motion-Activated Night Light 2 Bluetooth is currently available at Amazon Germany for €19.38.
