Vivo is expected to launch its new flagship X300 series in October. The series is expected to include at least two models: the standard X300 and X300 Pro. The highlight of the Vivo X300 will be its compact form factor along with the ZEISS camera system. A leak from a reputable tipster has now revealed comprehensive specifications of the upcoming device.
According to Digital Chat Station on Weibo, the Vivo X300 will feature a 6.31-inch LTPO panel with a 120Hz refresh rate and a 1.5K resolution. It will utilize a BOE-manufactured display with LIPO technology to achieve equal and thin bezels on all sides. Additionally, the leak suggests the display will offer a minimum brightness of 1 nit.
The Vivo X300 is tipped to feature a 200MP 1/1.4" primary sensor, a 50MP ultrawide lens, and a 50MP LYT602 1/2” periscope telephoto lens with 3X optical zoom. The camera is also tipped to feature a Zeiss T* anti-reflective coating to reduce lens flare and ghosting. Additionally, the company confirmed that the Vivo X300 will feature the in-house V3+ imaging chip, allowing to record cinematic portrait video at 4K 60fps. On the front, the X300 is said to have a 50MP selfie shooter.
The smartphone will be powered by the Dimensity 9500, which is MediaTek’s upcoming flagship processor. The battery capacity of the phone is not mentioned in the leak. However, it is expected to feature a battery of around 6,000mAh. The leaker suggests it will have 90W wired charging and support for wireless charging. Other notable features include a USB 3.2 port and an ultrasonic fingerprint scanner. The Vivo X300 and X300 Pro are expected to debut in China first, followed by a global launch.
