Vivo executive Han Bo Xiao has returned to sharing new details about one of the company's forthcoming flagship smartphones, just as Oppo begins teasing the Find X9 and Find X9 Pro in earnest. To recap, Han Bo Xiao has frequently compared the Vivo X300 against the iPhone 16 Pro (curr. $678 - renewed on Amazon) in recent weeks. Now, the same executive claims that Vivo will be bringing hardware to the X300 that is considered one of the X200 Ultra's most popular features.
Specifically, has confirmed that the Vivo X300 adopts the X200 Ultra's dual focal length zoom flash design that allows the latter to capture what Vivo calls 'Flash Portrait' shots. Theoretically, this hardware means that the X300 can create detailed portrait shots in low-light conditions. However, we would recommend waiting for independent reviews to arrive before passing judgment in this regard.
Meanwhile, the X300 Pro is set to surpass the X200 Ultra with what the same executive describes as a 'comprehensive flash upgrade'. Apparently, the X300 Pro integrates a triple-zoom flash setup that Han Bo Xiao asserts covers 24 mm, 50 mm and 85 mm equivalent focal lengths. Not only that, but the X300 Pro is said to create a 60% brighter scene when capturing 85 mm portraits than the X200 Ultra. Unfortunately, we are still none the wiser about when the X300 or X300 Pro will be available to purchase even in China, let alone internationally.
