Xiaomi has quietly added a new version of the Redmi 15C to its Polish website. To recap, the Redmi 15C 4G has been available for a few months globally (curr. $179.99 on Amazon). While the Redmi 15C 5G looks like its 4G counterpart, a massive performance gap should exist between the pair.
Specifically, Xiaomi equips the Redmi 15C 5G with the MediaTek Dimensity 6300, a 6 nm chipset packing ARM Cortex-A55 and Cortex-A76 CPU cores with a Mali-G57 MC2 GPU. According to our benchmarks, the Dimensity 6300 enjoys a 71% performance advantage over the Helio G81 Ultra that powers the Redmi 15C 4G.
The Redmi 15C 5G also contains a 6,000 mAh battery that supports 33 W wired charging and a 6.9-inch IPS display that resolves at 720p and 120 Hz with 810 nits peak brightness (HBM). On top of that, the new handset utilises 50 MP primary and 8 MP front-facing cameras set within a 173.16 x 81.07 x 8.2 mm and 211 g housing.
Officially, the Redmi 15C 5G is only available in Poland, where it starts at PLN 699 (~$193). Please note that this price includes 4 GB of RAM and 256 GB of storage; Xiaomi mentions the existence of a presumably cheaper 128 GB storage variant, too. The 128 GB edition can already be picked up from European retailers for around €140 (~$165) or for £135 (~$183) in the UK.
