The pending arrival of the Xiaomi 15T series is no secret, nor are many of the other devices that Xiaomi plans to introduce globally during the same launch event. As we covered earlier this week, the company has indicated that the OpenWear Stereo Pro, Redmi Pad 2 Pro and Watch S4 41 mm will also be in attendance. Conversely, Xiaomi has stressed that the Pad Mini will not be joining these devices or the Xiaomi 15T series.
Strictly speaking, Xiaomi has only confirmed the existence of the Xiaomi 15T Pro as a successor to last year's Xiaomi 14T Pro (curr. $608 on Amazon). Nonetheless, the frequent mentions of there being a Xiaomi 15T series imply that Xiaomi has created more than one model. To that end, various leaks have identified the Xiaomi 15T and Xiaomi 15T Pro, not just the latter.
Now, Abhishek Yadav has shared a photo of what appears to be a Xiaomi 15T retail unit wrapped in a protective plastic cover that Xiaomi includes with its devices. Emphasising recent leaks, the photo shows that the Xiaomi 15T contains a 6.83-inch and 120 Hz display with a 5,500 mAh battery, 67 W wired charging and a MediaTek Dimensity 8400 Ultra chipset. On top of that, the device is set to feature Leica-tuned cameras. Currently, the Xiaomi 15T is expected to start at €649 with the following hardware on September 24:
