Tecno's Pova Mobile India division has started to tease a new smartphone seemingly pitched to compete for eyeballs in a space-age manner, as made apparent in its latest social media teaser.
The smartphone is backed to "shine" from "afar" with LED accents in a unique broken triangle shape, as opposed to a standard ring flash as in its most immediate predecessor the Pova 6 Neo (now available for INR 13,999 on Amazon in India).
The updated feature seems to be wrapped around the camera hump in the "Pova 7 (or "7 Pro"), in a way ostensibly intended to try and distract from other upcoming handsets such as the Nothing Phone 3(a) and/or 3(a) Pro soon.
Their potential Tecno rival is hyped to support at least 2 rear cameras thus far, and might have the on-trend flat-edged frame design and maybe even a flat screen.
It is now slated to succeed a device with 70W Ultra Charging, a 120Hz AMOLED display driven by the Dimensity 6080 SoC and a 6,000mAh battery.
