The Japanese luxury watch manufacturer Seiko has unveiled its latest Prospex Ladies Marine Sports collection. Seiko introduced three models under the Prospex Ladies Marine Sports collection: A silver-toned Mother of Pearl, a blue Mother of Pearl, and a two-tone with gold accents.
The Prospex Ladies Marine Sports collection is powered by Seiko’s in-house 6N01 quartz calibre that ensures reliable precision in a sleek, compact form. These adventure-ready watches ship with a compact 34 mm case with a mother-of-pearl dial, which is complemented by Lumbrite-coated hands and indices for improved visibility even in low-light conditions.
As a part of the Prospex range, these timepieces have similar sapphire crystal glass durability found on Seiko’s Prospex SPB381 Sea Diver watch (curr. at $1,503.63 on Amazon). With a water resistance of up to 20 bar (~200 meters), each watch in this series is built to withstand marine adventures. Furthermore, the Prospex Ladies Marine Sports collection features a stainless-steel slim bracelet that has a short pitch length for a comfortable fit.
The case dimensions are consistent across the models, measuring 40.8 x 34 x 8.9 mm (1.60 x 1.3 x 0.3 inches). Plus, according to Seiko, the Prospex Ladies Marine Sports collection has three years of power reserve. It’s worth noting that all three models vary slightly in their exterior design: the Silver and Blue tone model has a silver and bluish tint to the dial and comes with a classic stainless steel case and bracelet. However, the Two-Tone model is slightly different from the first two, which feature a gold-tone bezel and center links on the stainless steel bracelet.
All watches in this series, namely Seiko Prospex Ladies Marine Sports Seafoam White (SUR605J1), Aqua Blue (SUR607J1), and Two-Tone (SUR608J1), are priced at £640 (~$793) and are now available for pre-order via Seiko’s official website.
