The Galaxy Z Fold7 is not expected to arrive for at least another month or so. While Samsung has not confirmed the device's launch date just yet, it has intimated that it and other foldables will be arriving this summer. Based on a new leak, the company is already preparing promotional materials ahead of its Galaxy Unpacked event, too.
Specifically, various sources have published an image of what they all claim to represent the final design of the Galaxy Z Fold7. Although only a single image, it showcases that Samsung could be planning to introduce numerous changes with this year's Galaxy Z Fold compared to the Galaxy Z Fold6 (curr. $1,009 - renewed on Amazon).
For instance, the picture highlights that the Galaxy Z Fold7 has a much thinner profile than its predecessor. In fact, it looks like each side of the Galaxy Z Fold7 is thinner than the Galaxy Z Fold Special Edition too, which spans 4.9 mm when opened and closes to a 10.6 mm overall thickness. The Galaxy Z Fold7 appears to be about as wide as the Galaxy Z Fold Special Edition, though, aligning with earlier leaks.
Thus, the Galaxy Z Fold7 is shaping up to be about as thin as the Oppo Find N5, if not thinner. Incidentally, the Galaxy Z Fold7's top speaker, SIM tray and microphone holes all match the positions of equivalents on the Galaxy Z Fold Special Edition. The picture also offers an insight into one of Samsung's apparent launch colours, as well as its stock wallpaper. Presumably, this is only the start of more substantive Galaxy Z Fold7 leaks as we edge ever nearer to Samsung's next Galaxy Unpacked event.
