Philips Hue Secure: New wired doorbell, Smart Chime, and 2K wired camera options announced

The Philips Hue Secure line is getting new security products for smarter, more integrated home protection. The lineup now includes the Hue Secure wired video doorbell, Hue Smart Chime, and two versions of the Hue Secure 2K camera, plus a new MotionAware feature for advanced instant alerts.

The Hue Secure wired video doorbell is launching for round-the-clock monitoring. It captures detailed 2K video with a wide 180-degree field of view and Starlight night functionality, so users can see everything from package deliveries to visitors, day or night. The doorbell also features two-way talk and can trigger Hue lights automatically for additional visibility.

Partnering with the doorbell is the Hue Smart Chime. It is a plug-and-play accessory that delivers customizable audible alerts across the home and can synchronize with Hue lights, making visitors impossible to overlook. Users can adjust chime sounds and set quiet hours for full control.

The Hue Secure 2K wired camera and its desktop stand version add even more detail to the Hue Secure system. These cameras are easy to install, connect to Wi-Fi, and deliver 2K video to identifying people and objects more clearly. They also integrate with Hue’s light and sound alarms.

Philips’ new MotionAware feature (available with the Hue Bridge Pro and a Hue Secure subscription) transforms most Philips Hue lights into discreet motion sensors. When movement is detected, users receive instant notifications and can automate alarms through the system.
