The Philips Hue Bridge Pro has officially launched. This new hub has been rumored for some time and leaked on the brand’s website in August 2025. Now, the company has officially revealed the device alongside many other smart home products like the Essential bulbs and Festavia outdoor lights.
As we already knew, the Hue Bridge Pro features various upgrades over the original Hue Bridge. With a new all-black design, it can support up to 150 smart lights and 50 accessories, a far greater number than its predecessor. On top of this, its processor is said to be five times as powerful.
Combined with 15 times the memory, users should benefit from faster response times, as well as the ability to store up to 500 smart lighting scenes. Another feature for the upgraded Hue Bridge Pro is Hue Motion Aware. This enables your Hue smart lights to act as motion sensors, meaning they can be automatically switched on when motion is detected.
The Philips Hue Bridge Pro is now available globally for $98.99/€89.99. For reference, the original Hue Bridge retails for $65.99/€59.99. The company notes that users of the original Hue Bridge will be able to transfer their settings to the new device relatively easily. Plus, for those with multiple Hue Bridges, a process to combine these into one unit of the Hue Bridge Pro will be released later in 2025.
