According to a report, Xiaomi is planning to eventually bring Android 12 to over 70 devices, including those released under its Redmi, POCO and Black Shark brands. Older handsets like the Mi 9 and Redmi K20 series are supposedly set to miss out on Google's upcoming OS, though.

@xiaomiui has compiled a list of Xiaomi devices that will see Android 12. We should stress that Xiaomi has not approved this list, nor has it published an equivalent so far. However, @xiaomiui claims to receive 'internal information from Xiaomi and MIUI', and its other lists have been on the money before.

Undoubtedly, Xiaomi will not be the first company to deliver Android 12. Instead, we expect Google to release its new OS with the Pixel 6 series first, before issuing it to current and past Pixel devices, such as the new Pixel 5a 5G. Xiaomi is already testing Android 12 internally and in closed betas though, so some devices may receive the OS update relatively quickly.

Apparently, the Mi 11 series is first up for Android 12, presumably to arrive packaged as MIUI 13. The Redmi K40 Pro and Redmi K40 Pro+ are already at the closed beta stage too, with the Redmi K40 behind the pair in an internal Android 12 beta. Similarly, Xiaomi is testing Android 12 internally on the Mi 10, Mi 10T and Redmi K30 series, along with some recent POCO smartphones. You can find the full lists below.
