OtterBox Premium Pro Fast Charge GaN wall and car chargers unveiled for up to 60 W USB-C output

OtterBox has unveiled a new Premium Pro Fast Charge range of USB-C wall and car chargers. The gadgets are available in 30 W single port, 60 W dual port and 72 W triple port versions. The dual charger features two USB-C ports, with a 60 W max output or 30 W each when you simultaneously charge a pair of devices. The triple charge has identical USB-C ports and adds a 12 W USB-A output.

According to OtterBox, a 30 W port could charge a Samsung Galaxy S22+ to 70% or an iPad Pro 11-in 3rd Gen to 33% in 30 minutes. For comparison, 60 W USB-C charging would take the same two devices to 71% and 34% over the same time frame. The USB-C wall charger uses GaN technology to maximise efficiency, with folding prongs to make it easier to transport. The product is relatively light, weighing between 0.11 to 0.28 lbs (~50 to 125 g). The USB-C car chargers have a grooved stem to make them easier to remove from the port and weigh 0.05 to 0.11 lbs (~22 to 50 g).
