HyperJuice GaN 140W PD 3.1 USB-C Charger launches for devices including MacBook and iPhone
The HyperJuice GaN 140W PD 3.1 USB-C Charger has been launched in the US. The compact wall charger enables you to charge three devices simultaneously; the three ports available are 140 W and 100 W PD 3.1 PPS USB-C ports and a 30 W QC 3.0 USB-A output.
The gadget is compatible with various devices, including MacBooks, iPhones, iPads, PCs and Android devices. For example, you can charge a 2021 16-in MacBook Pro at 140 W to reach 50% charge in 30 minutes. The portable gadget has folding wall plugs and is 24% smaller than the equivalent Apple charger, weighing 9.03 oz (~256 g) and measuring 2.87 x 2.92 x 1.14-in (~73 x 74.1 x 29 mm). Safety features of the gadget include protection from over-current, over-voltage and over-temperature. Plus, the device comes with a 2 m (~6.6 ft) USB-C charging cable, and EU, UK and AU pin adapters, making it suitable for travelling.
You can buy the HyperJuice GaN 140W PD 3.1 USB-C Charger in the US for US$129.99. The gadget is expected to launch in Europe this November for €139.99 (~US$139.87) or £119.99 (~US$138.44). Hyper is planning to release other products on the continent soon, including the HyperDrive Thunderbolt 4 Docking Station, which will retail for €579.99 (~US$579.49) or £509.99 (~US$588.39).
