MagyarXiaomi Power Probe 5000mAh Lipstick Edition portable power bank arrives with 20 W output
Xiaomi has launched the Power Probe 5000mAh Lipstick Edition portable power bank in China. As its name suggests, the compact gadget is around the same size as a lipstick, measuring 30.6 x 30.6 x 94.5 mm (~1.2 x 1.2 x 3.7-in) and weighing 127 g (~4.5 oz). The lightweight device supports two-way type C fast charging, with a maximum power output of 20 W. This means that the device could charge an iPhone 13 to 43% in 30 minutes.
The gadget has a 5,000 mAh lithium-ion battery, rated for 2,700 mAh. This capacity allows you to recharge the new Xiaomi CIVI 2 smartphone to 80%. You can charge the 21700 power cell at up to 13.5 W via the USB-C port. Using the accompanying 9 W 1.5 A USB-C to USB-C cable, the device can fully recharge in around 1.5 hours. Alternatively, you could charge the gadget in 2.75 hours using a 5 V 2 A Xiaomi USB-A to USB-C cable.
The power bank can operate at temperatures from 5 to 35 °C (~41 to 95 °F), with built-in protection from issues such as overheating and short-circuiting. You can buy the Xiaomi Power Probe 5000mAh Lipstick Edition in China for 129 yuan (~US$18). The product listings on the Xiaomi Youpin site and Mi.com suggest that the product is currently sold out.
