The HyperDrive Thunderbolt 4 Docking Station will shortly arrive in Europe. The device has a range of Thunderbolt 4, USB-A and HDMI ports, with support for an 8K 60 Hz display. The maximum data transfer speed is 40 Gbps via Thunderbolt, and your connected device can charge at up to 96 W.

The HyperDrive Thunderbolt 4 Docking Station will shortly launch in European countries, including France and Spain. The gadget has been designed for PC games, video editing and other tasks which require broad bandwidth and high-resolution displays. The dock includes two Thunderbolt 4 Downstream ports, with a maximum data transfer speed of 40 Gbps and a 15 W output. 

There is also a Thunderbolt 4 Upstream port that provides 96 W PD charging for your connected device. The gadget supports two 6K 60 Hz displays via HDMI 2.1 or Thunderbolt, or a single display at 8K 60 Hz or 4K 144 Hz resolution. Also included on the device are a 2.5 GB Ethernet port alongside 10 W and 4.5 W USB-A ports with up to 10 Gbps transfer speeds. The gadget can deliver audio at up to 384 kHz, with a 3.5 mm audio jack.

The dock is fairly compact, measuring 199.5 x 74.8 x 31.1 mm (~7.85 x 2.94 x 1.22-in) and weighing 405.4 g (~14.3 oz). The device is compatible with various operating systems, such as macOS 11 (Big Sur) and Windows 10 or later. The HyperDrive Thunderbolt 4 Docking Station will retail for €579.99 (~US$579.14); the exact launch date for the product is currently unclear. The gadget is already available in the US for US$349.99.
