A leak involving an Android device with a 165Hz refresh rate, active cooling and RGB accents might normally lead a mobile gaming fan to suspect that Asus is ready to resume the combination of all those specs in its next flagship ROG Phone.
However, the tip is in fact thought to refer to the Oppo K13 Turbo, or a new member of the OnePlus Ace series (or possibly both): the first overtly gaming-focused handset from the joint company.
It is also thought to launch as the OEM's first ever 8,000mAh battery smartphone - and might have the display to match, according to the legendary leaker Digital Chat Station.
Its supposedly ultra-high-FPS screen is now projected to be 6.83 inches in diagonal length, and also to integrate a high-end ultrasonic fingerprint sensor.
It might be driven by a Snapdragon 8-series chipset, although there is no guarantee that the "performance"-focused chipset will be of the line's flagship tier.
The "Ace 6/K13 Turbo" is also apparently in line for a premium build with a metal mid-frame, although its rumored ability to achieve an official IP68 dust- and water-resistance rating despite its open vents remains in doubt at the time of writing.
