The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold4 and Galaxy Z Flip4 are set to debut on August 10 as the first Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 foldables of the year. They will be joined later by OPPO's alternatives: the OPPO Find N Fold and Find N Flip, with the Chinese company likely hoping to snag some market share from Samsung in that segment.

The OPPO Find N debuted at the very end of 2021 as the company's first foldable device, and was regarded by many as being, perhaps, the best take at a foldable yet. OPPO is set to return to the market shortly, not with one but two new foldable phones.

As brought to light by Mukul Sharma, OPPO appears to have two trademarks in Europe, essentially revealing the names of its upcoming foldable phones. These devices will seemingly be the OPPO Find N Fold, and the OPPO Find N Flip. The first will be a direct successor to the Find N, while the latter will be a vertically-folding clamshell-style device.

The parallels are, of course, obvious. The Find N Fold and Find N Flip look designed to take on Samsung's own foldable devices: the Galaxy Z Fold4 and Galaxy Z Flip4. The original Find N appeared to do a great job at rivaling the Galaxy Z Fold3 last year, thanks to its smaller size, less obvious crease, and significantly lower price tag.

Availability will likely be the biggest question with these devices, as the Find N was never sold outside OPPO's home market of China. If that changes with the Find N Fold and Find N Flip, Samsung's imminent foldables may have quite the battle on their hands.
