Belkin laptop cooling pad

Belkin is looking to help keeping your laptop cool throughout with this new gadget.
At first look, it will look like a senseless gimmick in the new Chinese store down the corner. But when you come to think of the too-hot-to-touch bed-sheet under your laptop after finished watching that 3 hour long “Lord of the rings 3:Return of the king” – you might be able to come in terms with the fact that this simple device may get rather useful at times. Welcome to Customer-centric marketing. The new Laptop Cooling Hub from Belkin is a slight update on their classic model – a raised platform with a fan embedded to help cool down a hot laptop. It now features four USB ports to give it a little extra for your buck.
The cooling hub is elevated by a flip-out stand in the back, and slip-resistant rubber pads cover the laptop contact points to keep your notebook elevated at a prime viewing angle. This system works by taking advantage of the Cooling Pad's wave-shaped design, which sets the laptop up on the no-slip rubber-coated front to back crests of the wave, leaving about three-quarters of an inch of height in the trough for the fan to do its work.
The Laptop Cooling Pad uses a USB connection to power the unit, so your laptop will need to lend some life to it. The Cooling Pad has a separate compartment for storing the power cable. This product is really useful, both as a cooler and a laptop stand, although it might prove to be a little too uncomfortable on your lap.
The classic model comes for $30 with shades in both black and white, and the upgraded models called cooling hub and lounge retail at $50.
