Dell wants to bring low cost notebook Dell E in August

The manufacturer Dell wants to bring its low cost notebook Dell E as a competitor to the Asus Eee PC in August on the market.
The internet news site Digitimes report that Dell wants to release its mini notebook Dell E soon. The netbook will cost only $ 299 (~ € 199) and this is $ 100 less than the Acer Aspire One. This price tag could be the important advantage in the market for Dell.
The Dell E offers an 8.9-inch display and it shows content with a resolution of 1.024 x 600 pixels. The installed processor is the Intel Atom N270 CPU with 1.6 GHz and 1 GB RAM is included too. The mass storage device consists of a solid state drive and WLAN is also provided.
The Dell E will be available in August in Dells online shop.
