This baby runs XP and Android together
Engadget China got hold of a few pictures from an anonymous person of what looks like a smartphone like the Nokia N97, with touchscreen and also slide-out physical keyboard. It was told to Engadget that the MID runs on a Via processor, and runs both Windows XP and Android together. Also it’s not just an MID, you can make calls and send text messages also. One of the photos actually shows the call buttons and the messages button. The keyboard looks neat with well spaced out keys. Although the device runs both the OSs, you might just have to switch to Android to make a call, although I’m not sure. But if one can make calls from XP, it’ll be the second phone out after the XPPhone from ITG came out in the middle of this year.
Not much details available about the screen resolution, connectivity options, 3G compatibility and other features commonly expected from an MID and a Smartphone.
