An Australian newspaper report (Sydney Morning Herald) tells that the airline Qantas forbids its passengers the use of Dell notebooks on board.
A Quantas representative confirmed this to a reporter of the newspaper. The reason are the constant incidents with exploding notebooks, which meanwhile incites Dell and Apple to recalls. Such incidents on board of an airplane would be an enormous safety risk.
