BenQ launches Joybook Lite T131 netbook
This 13.3-inch ultraportable offers good connectivity and entertainment
BenQ has recently launched the Joybook Lite T131, a 13.3-inch ultra-portable laptop which enables the user to enjoy rich multimedia and great internet connectivity on the move. According to Peter Chen, General Manager of BenQ’s Technology and Product Center, “This newest netbook from BenQ reflects the personality and lifestyle of the Internet adventurer – spontaneous, resourceful, daring, and capable of handling whatever comes its way. The visuals are exhilarating and performance is without hesitation, ensuring pure and uncompromised mobile enjoyment of the digital age.”
The Joybook Lite T131 will be powered by AMD’s Sempron 200U processor, 2GB of RAM, and a 320GB hard drive. The display is a 1280x800 resolution, 250-nit CCFL screen which is super-charged by BenQ’s exclusive UltraVivid Technology, Display Brilliance Enhancement Film (DBEF™), and a low-reflectivity, anti-glare coating that delivers a great visual experience to the users. This device is capable of producing HD audio and has a smart noise suppression and echo cancellation mechanism to deliver crystal clear audio during voice/video conferencing with friends, family, or corporate clients.

The T131 weighs 1.8Kg with the dimensions 12.6-inch x 9.45-inch x 1.1-inch. This netbook has a decent sized keyboard with “Chiclet” style keys for easier and less error-prone typing. Battery life isn't that good; the 6-cell 4400mAh battery is capable of running this netbook for only 3 hours. Users can choose between two colors: midnight blue or snowy white. The Joybook Lite T131 will be available in China this June. The price though has not yet been disclosed by the company.
