Strange coincidence with the official Windows 7 release date
Lenovo is not alone. There are a lot of manufacturers who have adjusted the release of their latest gadgets with the official release date of the Windows 7 Operating System, so they can include the same in their systems. The ION powered Ideapad S12 will wait also, for the same date, to include Win 7.
Lenovo IdeaPad S12 has a 12.1-inch LED backlit display having a resolution of 1280x800. It is powered by the Intel Atom N270 processor and gives the user an option to choose between Intel’s GMA 950 and Nvidia Ion GPU. This netbook offers 1GB RAM and upto 160GB of hard drive storage space to store all the games, movies, photos, and music. It also features a 100% full size keyboard which offers ease of typing.
In Japan the laptop will cost equivalent of $760, but it’s expected to go for about $200 less when it becomes available in the US.
