Asus gets Flower Eco Award

Some Asus notebook series were decorated with the Flower Eco Award. This award is made for ecologically friendly laptops.

The Asus laptop series N10, N20, N50 and N80 were decorated with the Flower Eco Award of the European Union. Therefore, Asus is the first manufacturer all over the world which got this award.
This decoration only gets awarded to ecologically friendly devices and the assessment criteria are the strictest worldwide. The evaluation of the devices contains their energy consumption, the hazardousness of used materials, the packaging stuff, and the taking back of waste electronic equipment.
The Asus chairman Jonney Shih was very happy about the award and he thinks that the company strategy has been approved. Asus carries out their “Green Asus” strategy since the year 2000 and this policy has been crowned with success.
