Dell Mini 12 ready for pre-order

The new sub notebook Dell Inspiron Mini 12 can get pre-ordered in the USA and should be delivered from December on.

Dell already offers its new sub notebook or netbook Inspiron Mini 12 in the USA and the price of the device starts at $ 549 (~€ 436). The laptops can get pre-ordered and they will get delivered at the beginning of next month.
The Dell Inspiron Mini 12 offers a 12.1-inch display and this shows content with a resolution of 1.280 x 800 pixels. The installed graphics is an Intel Graphics Media Accelerator 500. Furthermore, an Intel Atom Z530 processor with 1.6 GHz is included and 1 GB DDR RAM is also built in.
The mass storage device is a common hard drive and the customer can decide between a capacity of 60 GB or 80GB. A wireless LAN 802.11g adapter and a Bluetooth 2.1 module with EDR provide wireless communication.
Furthermore, a 1.3 mega pixel webcam is installed as well and an external optical drive is also available. Dell ships the sub notebook with Microsoft Windows Vista Home Basic and a 6-cell battery is included too.
The price of the Dell Inspiron Mini 12 starts at $ 549 (~€ 436) and it can get pre-ordered on the manufacturers’ website.
