The first 12.1-inch notebook powered by Intel's Consumer Ultra Low Voltage technology
MSI has recently announced a new notebook which has been labeled as the first 12.1-inch notebook powered by Intel's Consumer Ultra Low Voltage technology. The MSI Wind12 U200 is powered by a 1.4GHz Core2 Solo that is more powerful than the processors used on netbooks. This notebook has a 12.1-inch 1366x768 resolution LED backlit HD display with aspect ratio of 16:9. Other features include:
· Up to 4GB of DDR2 (667/800MHz) RAM
· GMA4500MHD graphics
· 160/250/320GB SATA HDD
· 1.3MP webcam
· 4-in-1 card reader
· Ethernet, Wi-Fi 802.11b/g/n, Bluetooth v2.0+EDR (optional)

· Windows Vista Home Premium operating system
· Dimensions: 297(L) X 190(D) X 24.5-31(H)mm
· Weight: 1.3Kg with 3 cell battery
The MSI Wind12 U200 looks sleek and exquisite with the "Color Film Print Technology" from MSI applied to the cover as well as the palm rest area. The battery life of this device is about three times more (6.5hrs as per company claims) than that of other netbooks. MSI has added a special Ergonomics De-Stress (EDS) keyboard that features a 51% larger key area (means wider keys) that helps in reducing strain on the fingers. Moreover, the MSI Wind12 U200 is pre-loaded with software like – Easyface webcam software (Easyface manager, Easyface autolocker, and Easyface logon), Webcam companion, Visual Effect2, and Print Creation. The pricing and availability of this computer model is not yet known.
