Litl’s “web computer” to redefine netbooks

A grand surprise spoiled?
Reportedly, Litl wanted to surprise their customers with a new product, described as a “web computer”. Nevertheless, Endadget discovered the upcoming news on the FCC (Federal Communications Commission) website.
Allegedly, the Litl Easel is a “webbook”, coming with its own OS and is built by FIC (First International Computer). It houses an Atom Z540 processor, 12,1-inch 1280-by-800 pixel display, a scanty 2GB of RAM, IR receiver for a Litl remote and is powered by a 2600MAh battery. This small computer weighs 3.38 pounds (≈1.53kg) and comes with interesting features.
Upon pressing the dedicated blue button on the keyboard you will be brought into the OS menu. As reported, programs, widgets and settings are shown as stack of cards with different colors. Widgets include Litl alarm clock, weather channel and New York Times headline ticker. In addition, customers will be provided with the Firefox browser.
