The T26 is an exact replica of the Asus Eee PC S101
They have done it again, the guys up at Shanzhaiben have uncovered another clone, and this time it’s the T26 which is an exact replica of the Asus Eee PC S101. A couple of days ago guys at Shanzhaiben uncovered the Fashion A10 netbook which was strikingly similar to the Acer Aspire One. It seems as if clones are becoming more and more popular which shows that users want small and cheap laptops. Besides being cheap and small these devices tend to ape their expensive, trendy, and much talked about counterparts. So a user finally gets good value for money.
The T26 has the same specifications as the Eee PC S101 which are as follows:
· 10.2-inch 1024x600 resolution display
· 1.6GHz Intel Atom N270 processor
· 1GB RAM
· 160GB hard disk
· WiFi 802.11b/g
· Windows XP operating system
In terms of specifications the only thing that is lacking here is the wireless 802.11n which is available on the Eee PC S101. The T26 is available in gold, brown, or black colors at a price of around $300, which makes it much cheaper than its big brother the Asus Eee PC S101 which retails at about $700.
