Tainell T500 MID is small and light
Tainell, a Chinese computer manufacturer, is soon going to launch the Tainell T500 MID (mobile internet device). This device has the following features:
- 5-inch WSVGA 1,024x600 resolution bright display
- Intel Atom processor Z510 1.1GHz/ Z520 1.33GHz/ Z530 1.6GHz
- Poulsbo Us15W chipset
- 1GB DDR2 RAM
- Up to 64GB SSD for storage
- Dual stereo speakers alongwith HD audio support
- Built-in microphone
- Connectivity: WiFi, GPS, Bluetooth, built-in 3G support TDSCDMA/ WCDMA/ EVDO
- 1 USB port, 1 mini-USB port, HDMI port
- OS: Windows XP/ Windows 7/ Moblin
- Dimensions: 155 x 90 x 25.6-mm
- Weight: 420g
Users can choose between a variety of Intel Atom Z series processors based on their budget and performance requirements. The Tainell T500 MID is really small and light and is available in a variety of colors -Apple White, Business Black, and Champagne Gold. This device is powered by a 2400mAh battery that is good for about 4-6 hours of usage. There is no word on pricing yet.
