10-inch Acer Aspire One netbook in Q1 2009?
Acer started in 2008 to offer its Aspire One netbooks and the devices is equipped with an 8.9-inch display. The manufacturer expects to sell about six million netbooks until the end of this year.
The goal for this year is big, but the next year’s objective is quite bigger. Acer wants to sell about 12 to 13 million Aspire One netbooks in 2009 and they want to reach this goal by offering a new netbook.
The manufacturer Acer wants to bring a new Aspire One with 10-inch display in February or March on the market. Definitely, this is a reaction on the mass on netbooks with 10-inch display which are already offered by Acer’s competitors like MSI or Asus.
No word on the hardware of the new device except the 10-inch display. Supposedly, Acer will include the same hardware of the current Aspire One into the new netbook.
